What a lovely evening!
Ten singers came to the first session, and we enjoyed some lovely harmonies and songs. Hopefully the word will spread, and by this time next year the choir will be twice the size, and ready to take the world by storm. It’s quite exciting really!
Meanwhile, rehearsals take place every Thursday at the Natural Health Centre in Kirkbymoorside, at 7:15. Sessions cost £3.50, and you need to ditch your outdoor shoes in order to use the lovely Bethel Room.
Tonight is the first session of Kirkby Community Choir. I am quite excited – no idea how it will go, but mostly I am looking forward to a good sing!
